Dr Sherry Espin is an Associate Professor in the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing at Toronto Metropolitan University. Dr. Espin’s research examines how clients and team members perceive and interact with one another in the context of safety, safe work environments, and health equity in a variety of practice settings including long-term care, Further, she explores processes and outcomes related to team collaboration and education with a focus on quality, teamwork, and communication. She has recently co-developed simulations in the context of undergraduate and graduate education. These works are available in the open-access press-books library.
