Jennifer Dunbar Viveiros, PhD, RN, CNE, CHSE, serves as an Associate Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She has collaborated on numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations focusing on key areas such as nursing education strategies, simulation, healthcare stigma, and heart failure symptom management. Over the past two decades, she has held various roles including emergency room nurse, trauma program manager, clinical educator, and academic scholar. Her passion for advancing nursing education through innovative teaching methods has significantly impacted nursing practice and patient care. Educationally, Jennifer holds a B.S. in Nursing from Georgetown University, an M.S. in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island, and a PhD in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She resides in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, with her family and is dedicated to nurturing future nursing professionals by integrating rigorous academic standards, practical clinical skills, and enthusiasm for education.
