Aimee Woda PhD, RN BC is an Associate Professor at Marquette University College of Nursing. Her research explores student learning and debriefing using simulation pedagogy. Currently she is focused on training debriefers to effectively implement Debriefing for Meaningful Learning (DML). With the research team she has developed and evaluated a DML Train-The-Trainer program and an asynchronous online training program. Her work contributes to the literature supporting the simulation faculty development standards and provides evidence for regulatory bodies to further develop regulations and guidelines for debriefing training and assessment requirements.
