Dr. Syeda Thomas is a faculty member at the University of Iowa, College of Nursing. She received her PhD in Nursing Education in 2016. Her clinical specialty area is intensive care nursing in which she is still currently working PRN as a staff nurse and maintains her critical care registered nurse certification. Dr. Thomas' is able to bring current clinical practice into her courses and is passionate about incorporting the electronic health record into the classroom, simulation, and laboratory setting.
