Dr. Ashley Bukay graduated with her ADN in 2010, BSN in 2014, MSN- Education in 2017, and her DNP in October of 2021. Dr. Bukay spent 10 years working on an adult cardiology and vascular surgery unit as well as an echo lab at the Medical University of South Carolina prior to transitioning to academia. Dr. Bukay currently teaches in both the didactic and clinical settings at the Citadel Militatry College of South Carolina, primarily in the adult medical-surgical content areas. In additiona to didactic and clinical course teaching, Dr. Bukay is interested in completing research related to simulation, pedagogy, adult medical surgical patients, and patients in the underserved and veteran populations.
