Dr. Tiffeny Atkins graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Temple University. She is employed as a Director of Clinical Education and Professor in the Physical Therapy Program at Neumann University, teaching Clinical Reasoning courses (simulation-based learning experiences), and the pediatric content. She has presented locally and nationally, and published in areas of both clinical education and pediatric PT. She is a member of the Philadelphia Area Clinical Education Consortium (PACEc), and on the Entrustable Professional Activities (EPA) drafting panel, as part of the Domains of Competence Workgroup, updating expectations for an entry level physical therapist. She has been recognized as a Board-Certified Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy by the American Physical Therapy Association and works per diem in Early Intervention. Beyond the classroom she organizes a service-learning opportunity as a team leader for students for “Life Rolls On” a program that supports athletes with disabilities and gives them an opportunity to experience surfing, and volunteers as a judge for the Southeastern PA Science Olympiad.
