Dr. Nancy Barker graduated from Widener University in 1996, Drexel University in 2010 and Immaculata University in 2016. She has been employed at West Chester University since 2016 as an assistant professor. Prior to her employment at West Chester University she was a simulation director at Immaculata University. Dr. Barker currently teaches sophomore and junior nursing students in a traditional and accelerated undergraduate program. She has several journal articles including Simulation Elective, A Novel Approach to Using Simulation for Learning in Clinical Simulation in Nursing with her copresentor Dr. Christine Thomas. Her interests include active learning, simulation, and student engagement and success.
