Kendal Bailey is a dynamic nursing professional with a rich educational background and extensive experience in both clinical and academic settings. She has worked within the academic and healthcare sector as an educational leader. Her early academic career focused on utilizing virtual tools to improve educational performance, including 2D and 3D virtual reality (VR) applications. She currently works within an acute care hospital leading facility level educational design initiatives and content development for clinical nurses leveraging innovative tools and maximizing gamification strategies. Her research endeavors have focused on the acceptability of VR simulations within nursing. She also is working on identifying framework approaches to support the implementation of VR within nursing education. She is passionate about leveraging innovative technologies to enhance end users' experience and learning outcomes.
