Dedicated and knowledgeable Nurse Academic with extensive teaching experience in clinical and tertiary nursing education. A Clinical Nurse Specialist with 12 years of clinical service, specialising in Emergency and Intensive care nursing. i am currently employed at the School of Nursing and Midwifery Western Sydney University in Sydney, Ausralia as a Lecturer and the Schools Simulation Coordinator. I have a strong commitment to delivering innovative practical and theory-based education in nursing. Striving to develop better learning experiences for students with a strong passion for simulation based education.
I am focused on preparing each nurse candidate to be an effective health care provider for the future, with a focus on patient-centred care. My interests include advancing nurse education through innovative teaching practices and enhancing simulation practices.
My PhD research interests include exploring how chronic conditions impact critical care nurses and strategies to support and retain.
