Meghan Liebzeit has spent over two decades of dedicated service in the healthcare industry, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the field of nursing in the realm of pediatric critical care and innovation in education.
With almost 22 years of hands-on experience as a Pediatric ICU nurse, Meghan has been at the forefront of providing compassionate and skilled care to some of the most vulnerable patients. In addition to her clinical practice, Meghan has spent 14 years as a nurse educator, and most recently as Simulation Educator, shaping the next generation of nurses with her passion for excellence and innovation. Her role as an educator has been marked by a strong emphasis on creative educational practices and simulation-based learning and design, recognizing their invaluable role in preparing student nurses for real-world challenges. These innovative practices offered Meghan the opportunity to present at local, national, and international conferences, on topics related to innovation in simulation and philosophy, nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals.
In recognition of her research in nursing education while obtaining her PhD, Meghan was honored as an NLN Jonas Scholar for the 2022-23 school year, a testament to her dedication and impact in the field. With her blend of clinical expertise, educational leadership, and passion for innovation, Meghan continues to push the educational envelope to ensure peers, nursing students, and nurses excel in their practice and make a meaningful difference in the lives of students, patients, and families.
