Rebekah D. Day received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Bevill State Community College in 2007, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University in 2011. She furthered her education and expertise by completing her Master of Science in Nursing for Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2015 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Rebekah is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and is expected to graduate in August 2024. Rebekah has been a full-time faculty member at the University of Alabama in Birmingham since 2023. In her role as Nursing Student Competency Educator, she collaborates with undergraduate and graduate faculty and students to enhance their skills, competency, and learning opportunities.
