Alex Borzok earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2022 from Widener University and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He currently teaches in simulation as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing at Saint Joseph University – Lancaster. He also practices as a nurse practitioner and provides medical coverage for a volunteer search and rescue team in Pennsylvania. In line with his wilderness medicine experience he recently presented at the 2023 Canadian Association of Wilderness Medicine conference and the 2023 World Extreme Medicine conference. He enjoys the outdoors and can be found most days off hiking the local trails with his daughter.
