Elizabeth Reed has 36 years of experience assessing the functional impact of disabilities for individuals in employment and academic settings. She began serving as UD’s Director & ADA/504 Coordinator in October 2018. Prior to working at UD, Elizabeth was in similar roles for Devereux, Return to Work Services, and Travelers Insurance Company. She has also served as an expert witness in the capacity of a vocational rehabilitation consultant. Reed holds master’s degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling and Human Resource Administration. Reed is also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.
Under her leadership she has significantly expanded the services offered to students, faculty, and staff. A culture of teamwork and support with campus partners has actively advanced the pursuit of diversity, equity, and inclusion to remove barriers to provide access to all educational programs, services, and campus environment.
