Ellen Wruble, PT, DScPT, MS, FACCWS is Director of the Doctorate in Physical Therapy Program, Director of the Master of Science in Clinical Health Science Program, and Associate Professor at the University of Delaware. Dr. Wruble also serves as Academic Co-Director for the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the University of Delaware’s acute care residency program. With over 19 years of experience as a Director in DPT Programs with varied curricular structures and resources, she has become a national leader in topics related to academic policies, educational innovation, and interprofessional education. Dr. Wruble currently serves on the Facilitation Standards Sub-Committee for the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning and on the Systemic Discrimination and Racism Mitigation Task Force for the American Council of Academic Physical Therapists. Dr. Wruble also assists the American Physical Therapy Association with their pathway initiatives with Health Occupations Students of America and provides professional assistance to new PT/PTA faculty at Faculty Development Workshops sponsored by Pagliarulo & Associates.
