Kathryn Roberts DNP, RN-BC, CHSE, NPD-BC received her MSN and BSN from Texas Tech Health Science Center and recently received her DNP in Nursing Education from Arkansas State University. She has been awarded several certifications during her nursing career in trauma nursing and critical care including (CHSE) Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator, part of the Global Nurse of the Year 2017 Cohort, invitations to speak at various international simulation conferences. Her professional journey has been marked by a steadfast commitment to enhancing nursing education through innovative teaching and learning strategies, particularly in the realm of simulation and technology. Her advanced simulation experience includes Simulation Design & Implementation, Curriculum & Educational Program Design and Planning, Simulation Operations, Project Management, and Faculty Development. Her leadership as a Simulation Center Supervisor has been instrumental in guiding the Simulation Center's expansion and growth. She has been instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing a wide range of teaching and learning resources. Dr. Roberts also works as an educational consultant facilitating and designing nursing and faculty development, curriculum, training, and mentorships. She has experience in Curriculum Design and Online Curriculum Design and Delivery using various technology methods and programs. Most recently, she has added author to her CV with the publishing of the 1st installment in the "Become a Sim Whisperer" electronic workbook series entitled, "Become a Sim Whisperer: A Healthcare Professional's Guide to Scenario Design."
