Identified Gap(s): Lack of knowledge of the Healthcare Simulation Standards Endorsement program. Description of current state: The Healthcare Simulation Standards Endorsement is a new initiative through INACSL. The endorsement process went through pilot testing and three rounds of general applications. Many simulationists have not heard about this endorsement or would like more information on how their institution can get endorsed. Description of desired/achievable state: Increased numbers of institutions (educational and practice) interested in applying for Healthcare Simulation Standards Endorsement
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be exposed to the Healthcare Simulation Standards Endorsement process.
Participants will share reasons for simulation programs/institutions to be endorsed.
Participants will be exposed to examples of evidence to meet criteria for certain indicators in the core four standards.
